Inhabitants of this ancient city can be traced all the way to the Late Stone Age, making this the oldest city in Croatia. Because of its location at the coast of the Adriatic Sea, several influences, including the Roman empire, shaped the image of what Zadar is now. #TrustMeIveBeenThere #CroatiaFullofLife

Sitting on world-renowned Sea organ (Morske orgulje), this experimental musical instrument plays music by way of sea waves and tubes located underneath a set of large marble steps. Designed by architect Nikola Bašić, this unique architectural sound art makes the sea come alive as it serenades the people with harmonic sounds. In 2006, the Sea Organ was awarded with the prize ex-aequo of the fourth edition of the European Prize for Urban Public Space.

Ever wondered how this ancient coastal city looked from the sea, that led to its conquest?
